Rotherham United’s next game is on Wednesday evening when we welcome Coventry City to the New York Stadium where Lewis Smith from Wigan has the whistle.
Promoted in the summer Lewis is in his first full season as an EFL Referee and this will be just his third Championship game in that capacity. This is the first time he has been in the middle for a Millers game.
He has been in the middle for fourteen games this season and shown fifty-nine yellow cards and three reds, one of those at the weekend to former Miller Curtis Tilt who is now playing for Salford.
Running the line on Wednesday night we have Shaun Hudson and Matthew Jones and the Fourth Official will be Robert Madley.
